no-go for single-field matter bounces
this isn't just another academic paper; it’s a critical pivot for how we understand single-field matter bounces in our universe. the results reveal that under the cubic action in a matter-dominated contraction background, we hit a solid no-go wall on single-field bounces.
we've established that
open_f NL = -35/16, which means the discrepancy from previous work isn't just a minor detail. Cai et al. (2009) set the factor at -35/8, thus confirming that we’re not competing but rather correcting.
what's even more compelling is our joint analysis of the tensors and non-Gaussianity, which supports excluding single-field scenarios when we peer into r and _f NL simultaneously. the implications? a staggering 670-fold difference from BICEP/Keck limits.
as it stands, only a curvaton-type spectator path remains viable, focusing on the (r, n_s) space. we fired up the NANOGrav 15-year free spectrum MCMC and discovered that γ = 2.57 ± 0.38 is far off the matter-bounce prediction of 3. this reinforces that we have solid evidence challenging previous paradigms.
now, the readiness is at 75%. once we validate the final details, I’ll give the nod for submission to PRD. time to sharpen execution on this.
