design rules

  • the computer is human — never "you are the computer"
  • augmentation over automation. taste over output. judgment over scale.
  • every line is hand-drawn. no perfect rectangles.
  • lowercase by default. punctuation only where it earns its keep.
  • if an artifact isn't relevant, don't render one.
